Tips for Attending Sugarland

While MetraPark’s Rimrock Auto Arena is ready for Sugarland in Concert with Glen Templeton on Monday, the building’s lobby is still under construction.  The Bench Connector road project is also in full swing, so here are some tips for those attending:

ARRIVE EARLY!  This is the number one tip . . .  doors open at 6pm for the 7pm show.  Allow extra time to arrive, park, enter the arena, and get to your seats.  Main Street can be busy at this time of day.  Come early and get a burger from Fuddruckers, a cold brew, and relax and enjoy the new surroundings until show time.

PARKING:   Public parking is available in the lower lot, carnival lot, and upper parking lot.

Upper Parking Lot: About 2/3 of the lot will be available for public parking.  Please stay clear of areas under construction and do not park in entrance or exit ways.

It’s highly recommended that traffic enter and exit the upper parking lot via the Main Street entrance across from Airport Road (Swords Lane.)  There will be a walkway on the roadway from the upper lot to the front of the arena for guests parked in the upper lot.  Those parked in the upper lot may use the road under construction to pick up or drop off guests at the front of the arena.

Handicapped Parking:  Limited handicapped parking will be available at the front of the arena, but that area will also be a drop off zone.  Please plan to arrive early for the best parking options.

Parking staff will help you get to where you need to drop off and/or park.  Just follow their directions.

ENTRANCES:  Public entrances will be at the lower level southwest door as well as at the front of the arena.  Although the lobby will not be completed, new doors directly on the front of the building on either side of the lobby will be used to enter the building.  The new elevator is ready to accommodate those who need to move from floor to floor.

Thank you for a sold out show!

We are more than excited to host Elton John and his Band in concert on April 10th.  To have a sell out show as the first concert in the Rimrock Auto Arena after the June tornado is extremely uplifting not only to our Yellowstone County Commissioners and the staff who work here but we hope for the community as a whole.

We’d like to extend a sincere thank you to all who purchased tickets on Saturday and thank you for your patience throughout the process.  We apologize to those who do not feel they were served well.  When demand is so much greater than supply, we know there will be disappointed customers and we wish we could fulfill an order for everyone who wants to purchase a ticket.
